Senior Pastor

Pastor Joselin Anevil was born on the island of La Gonâve, located on the western side of Haiti. He is the son of his late parents, Elmiya Dor and Elison Anevil. Raised in the Church of the Nazarene, he was baptized at the age of 15 and began serving in the ministry of music at a very young age. In 1981, he left La Gonâve to continue his education in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti.

During the political turmoil of the early 1990s, while pursuing studies in law and ethnology at the State University of Haiti, he immigrated to the United States with his uncle, Jacques Claudes. Once in the U.S., he continued his education and earned a BA in Religion from LRU, a BA in economics from UCF, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and a specialist degree from NSU, and he is now completing a Doctor of Education degree from ACE.

Pastor Joselin has served in various professional roles, including substitute teacher, ESOL instructor, French instructor, and school administrator in the public school system. His calling to ministry led him to serve as a youth pastor in his early thirties, later becoming an assistant pastor for over a decade. While serving as assistant pastor, he successfully led the 2009 construction project of a state-of-the-art building to house Christ Sanctified Church. In 2017, following God’s leading, he founded Roc Solide Ministry with a group of committed believers, establishing a church with a mission to equip the saints, evangelize the sinner, and exalt the Savior.

In 2003, Pastor Joselin married his wife, Maudelyne. After years of waiting and prayer, the couple was blessed with their son, Joselin Jr., affectionately known as “JJ.”

Beyond his pastoral and teaching roles, Pastor Joselin is a gifted musician who enjoys playing the guitar, and he also loves fishing. A teacher at heart, he is passionate about the Word of God and deeply committed to seeing lives transformed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
